I grew up half of my life in Tokyo.  Tokyo is an interesting city.  There is no one word to describe the life in Tokyo.  It is an ancient city as well as a modern city.  It is a vast city.  It is like a vast desert in Australia but is a desert city.  This is not to give any negative connotation at all.  The desert in Australia is not a negative place either.  For me both places are comfortable places with lots of warm people living in it.  Somehow I find it difficult to take photos of Tokyo.  Perhaps I am too close?
